Set off on a 4-day getaway through Catalonia, exploring medieval villages, savoring local wines, and riding electric bikes through stunning vineyards and landscapes. A gentle journey blending culture, nature, and gastronomy.

4-Day Version:

  • Day 1 – Welcome in Barcelona by your guide Josep and transfer to a charming accommodation near the town of Montblanc. Check-in at the hotel where we’ll enjoy 3 nights of peace and serenity. Bike fitting followed by an aperitif to set the mood… Dinner at the hotel.
  • Day 2 – Departure by e-bike from the Poblet Monastery with a visit to the fortified medieval town of Montblanc. Wine tasting stop, then lunch and return through the vineyards and Milmanda Castle. A 30 km loop. Dinner at the hotel.
  • Day 3 – Departure from the hotel by minibus to the village of Albarca, followed by a long downhill ride to Cornudella de Montsant, world-famous for its vineyards. Then visit the beautiful village of Siurana (approx. 25 km). Aperitif and tapas at a remarkable olive oil mill, with a guided tour and explanation of the oil-making process. Dinner at the hotel.
  • Day 4 – Breakfast and transfer back to Barcelona, with a short stop at the village of Guimerà in the Corb River Valley.

    Level 2 for electric trekking bike: 20-50 km per day depending on the profile. Elevation gain, max 500 m accumulated over the day.

    A slightly sporty person who rides a bike fairly regularly but in a relaxed manner. Have balance on a bike, go out once a week, know how to brake on gravel paths.

    By booking one of our activities, the customer confirms having read and accepted the following conditions:

    1. The company ‘ANIMA BIKES Sàrl’, in the person of its legal representative Mr Josep M. Gorgues Pont, whose registered office is at Chemin de la Violette 8, 1030 Bussigny, Switzerland, and Mobiliere liability insurance no. G-17496880, offers the following activities:
      • Organisation of tourist and sports excursions on trekking or mountain bikes;
      • Hire of electric trekking bikes;
      • Hire of helmets and safety equipment;
      • Altus waterproof 20L bike bags;
      • Tasting of 3 wines at the Domaine des Biolles in Founex;
        Guiding service;
      • Transport of people and bikes with shuttle bus and trailer to the start of the tour when necessary.
    2. The company ‘ANIMA BIKES Sàrl’, in carrying out the proposed activities, holds the diploma of Mountain Bike Guides from the Accademia Nazionale di Mountain Bike, in possession of the professional and psycho-physical requirements necessary to guarantee the safety of the clients.
    3. In order to carry out the proposed excursions, the customer must have good cycling skills, suitable psycho-physical conditions and equipment suitable for carrying out the proposed activities.
    4. The company ‘ANIMA BIKES Sàrl’ requires each customer to have Civil Liability (CL) insurance in the event of a dispute with others and with the equipment (bicycle) as well as Accident insurance in order to be protected in the event of an accident.
      1. The customer acknowledges that he/she is of the minimum age to ride an electric bicycle. The minimum age for riding an electric bike is 14 with an M licence (moped). From the age of 16 without a licence.
      2. The customer is entirely responsible for the equipment hired, as well as for any damage or injury it may cause, from the moment it is collected until it is returned. The maximum load of a bicycle is 120 kg.
      3. The customer undertakes to return the rented equipment in perfect working order and acknowledges that he/she alone is responsible for any damage caused during use of the equipment during the rental period, from pick-up to return.
      4. In the event of loss, theft, total or partial destruction, repair or replacement of parts, the costs will be invoiced to the hirer.
    5. The company ‘ANIMA BIKES Sàrl’ provides and recommends the use of a helmet, it also requires appropriate clothing for all weather conditions and technical difficulties.
    6. The company ‘ANIMA BIKES Sàrl’ provides the customer with all the information necessary to tackle the proposed routes, informs about the safety standards to be respected and, finally, if necessary, can integrate the necessary safety equipment.
    7. The activities offered by ‘ANIMA BIKES Sàrl’ may take place in a risky environment. The responsibility of the company ‘ANIMA BIKES Sàrl’ is to inform how, despite the adoption of all the measures mentioned above to ensure the safety of participants in excursions, in this environment the risk cannot be eliminated.
    8. Clients who intend to take part in the activities offered by ‘ANIMA BIKES Sàrl’ must follow the instructions provided by the guide(s).
      ‘ANIMA BIKES Sàrl’ reserves the right to take photographs and to publish them but will warn the customer before the excursion or the stay. If the customer refuses to be photographed, he/she must mention this before the service.

    Once the customer has booked an activity on the ‘ANIMA BIKES Sàrl’ website, the customer will receive instructions relating to this activity, including in particular: the requirements necessary to carry out the booked activity (physical condition, equipment, insurance, etc.), information on the risks associated with the booked activity, instructions and information on the proposed itineraries.

    Prior to departure, participants must also provide their DNI, failing which they will not be able to take part in the activity.
