Our Excursions in Switzerland
Josep’s adopted home for over 11 years and Corinne’s for 20, so we couldn’t resist introducing you to it.
A lake and mountains all around, with many and varied paths, what better way to enjoy yourself as a cyclist looking for quiet little roads with no cars, no noise and a view? and what a view! A lake that sometimes looks like a sea, snow-capped mountains, often with Mont Blanc in the background – what more could you ask for! And vineyards on all the slopes, from the gently sloping to the steepest, and small villages with houses with pointed roofs, so characteristic of the Swiss canton of Vaux. A tranquil landscape, as if we were in the middle of a painting and could feel the gentleness of life here in Switzerland…
Anim Apero Bike
Evening on Thursday (5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.) – 1 hour electric bike ride – 10km – CHF 140.00
A departure around Founex followed by an aperitif at a winery and a tasting of 3 wines accompanied by “a planchette” – Guaranteed to make your day!
The Rural Trans-frontalière
Half day (9:30 a.m-1:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m-5:30 p.m.) – 3 hours of electric bike ride – 20km – CHF 160.00
A departure from the heights of the village of Founex for a rural stroll with a short excursion to our French neighbors through the orchards, corn and rapeseed fields then the vineyards of the locality of Crans-près-Céligny to end with a presentation and a tasting of regional wine at the domaine des Biolles in Founex.
The Lake Geneva coast
Day (9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. from August) – 4 hours of electric bike ride – 30km – CHF 250.00
A departure from the village of Vinzel, direction the Jura to discover the Toblerones trail and their history, then a long journey through the villages of the Coast to observe the pointed roofs of the canton of Vaud with a view of Lausanne and a return through the vineyards of the Coast while admiring Lake Geneva and the view of the Geneva jet d’eau.
